March 22, 1930 — May 22, 2023
Our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away in Logan, Utah May 22, 2023 at the age of 93.

Jennie was born on March 22, 1930 to James H. and Blanche Larsen Andrus in Logan, Utah. She was the oldest of three children. She graduated from Logan High School in 1948.

On October 8, 1948 she married John C. Potter in the Logan LDS Temple. They made their home in Collinston on the family farm where they resided for 72 years, before moving to Legacy House in Logan.

Mom was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Serving in many callings, among her favorite were Fielding Stake Missionaries and Logan Temple ordinance worker, where many friendships were made.

Mom had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and an abiding love for the Savior. She knew she would be reunited with John for time and all eternity.

She was a devoted wife and mother. Pitching in to help on the farm whenever needed, driving beet and hay trucks to make sure the crops got in.

Mom was a wonderful cook and provided many delicious meals to keep the farm workers going. She enjoyed spending time with family, camping, snow skiing, and traveling on the church history tours.

Jennie is preceded in death by her loving husband John, who she missed dearly for the last 14 months, her parents and one great granddaughter, Madison Potter.
