Willie's oldest sister, Annie Lou Middleton, was married to Wiley W. Robson. Shortly after giving birth to their son Wiley Clayton Robson (who was killed on Iwo Jima), Annie Lou died.
Willie Marie moved into the home to help Wiley care for little Clayton. On 8 October 1922 she and Wiley were married in McIntosh County GA. Wiley was the father of all three of Willie's children, an infant that died three days after birth, and Billie Anne and Warren.
After Wiley's death Willie married Thomas Parrish, and after his death she married William Harley Davis. She spent the last several years of her life with the debilitating effects of a stroke.
