The Long County native was a member of the United Methodist Church of Ludowici and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. She was retired from Seaboard Coastline Railroad, volunteered for many years in overseeing the Middleton Memorial Cemetery and enjoyed taking care of and providing for those in need.
Survivors include her nieces, Rosalyn Gordon of Ashantilly, and Helen Robson of Ludowici; a nephew, Buddy Middleton of Townsend; great-nieces, Ginger Gordon of Ashantilly, Candy Lancaster of Fenandina Beach, Fla.; several other great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial services were held December 1 at the United Methodist Church in Ludowici with Pastor Jim Burgess officiating.
