Wilfred Anthony Ricke, 66, died January 15, 1988 at Medicine Lodge, Kansas. Born February 21, 1921 to Fredrick and Mary Ricke, Sharon, Kansas. He grew up on a farm 2 & 1/2 miles west of Sharon and received his schooling at Sharon. After the death of his parents he moved to Medicine Lodge and was employed by Gold Bond until his retirement.
He was a World War II veteran. Survivors include: brother Seraphine, Willowdale, Kansas. Sisters: Catherine Dick, Sharon, Marie Dreier, Olpe, Kansas, Mildred Ketzner, Yamhill, Oregon, and Lorena Angell, Medicine Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred & Mary Ricke, and brother, Francis, of Wright, Kansas.
Funeral services were Monday, 10 a. m., at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medicine Lodge. Father Rory O'Neill officiated. Burial was at the St. Boniface Cemetery, Sharon. Memorials may go to the church.
