Ruby Eleanor Laverty, 65, 507 N. Main Street., died at 6:55 pm May 1, 1990, Clinton County Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Laverty had worked for National Cigar Co. She was born August 4, 1924 in Clinton County to Robert and Audra Goodnight Mounts. She married John Laverty in 1952 and he died in 1977. Surviving are two sons, Paul and Kevin of Frankfort; two daughters, Carol Black of Frankfort and Pam Carney of Topeka, Kan.; two sisters Dolly Smith of Frankfort and Esther Cline of Kempton; and grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
