Mrs. Pettit, an employee of National Cigar Co., resided in Lafayette before moving to Clinton County several years ago.
Surviving are a son, William Lawrence Wall of Noblesville; a daughter, Mrs. Jeanette Stone of Sharpsville; five sisters, Mrs. Hubert Dick, Mrs. Eleanor Laverty, both of Frankfort, Mrs. Norman Smith, Mrs. Agnes Mount, both of Rt. 7, Frankfort, and Mrs. Esther Cline of Kempton; one brother, Thurman Mounts of Frankfort; and four grandchildren. Preceded in death by one brother. Service Aug. 11, Eller Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. George Smith officiating; burial in Bunnell Cemetery.
