Dorothy A. Drew was born at Enosberg, VT, May 5, 1835 and died at her home in Powell Canyon. January 30, 1901 at 8a.m. She was married to Jason J. Woodward March 31, 1858. They located in Powell Canyon in the early settling of Custer Co., and are well known and highly esteemed by that community. She was a member of the M.E. church, was an Exceilent Christian, a loving wife and devoted mother. She leaves four sons, two daughters and other relatives to mourn her departure. Her husband having preceded her a few years ago. Deceased had been sick only about two weeks with pneumonia.
