NELLIE BRANDIS DEAD 36 YEARS AFTER FIRST COMING TO COMMUNITY.
Mrs. Nellie Brandis, 79, died yesterday at the home 1030 Antimony Street. She had been a resident of Butte the past 36 years. She was a native of Troy, Mich. Her husband, Fred H. Brandis, survives.
Other surviving relatives are three daughters, Mrs. Iviel Koontz, Butte: Mrs. Jane E. Greaves, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Bess E. Dineen, Butte; two sons, Fred E. Brandis, Chinook, and Final C. Brandis, Butte; eight grandchildren, Mae Wilke, Helen Brandis and Jack, Robert and Jean Dineen, all of Butte, and Lenore, Clair and Chester Thomas, all of Kalispell, a great-grandchild, Joan Wilke, Butte; two brothers and sister-in-law Jay Drew and Cora Drew, Republican City, Neb., and Ivo Drew and Sophia Drew, Orange county, Calif., three son-in-laws, Chester Greaves, Los Angeles; John P. Dineen, Butte, and Jacob Thomas, Kalispell, and two daughter-in-laws, Mrs. Margaret Brandis, Chinook, and Mrs. Janie Brandis, Butte.
The body is at the Richards funeral home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
