R. H. (Dutch) Reighley, 87, died yesterday afternoon in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Burke, 444 East South St. Vermilion following an illness of five years.
He was born in Vermilion Mar. 3, 1870 and had spent most of his life in and near Oberlin. He was a farmer.
Mr. Reighley's wife, Frances died in 1932. Survivors are two sons, Hollis, Oberlin and Ervin, Wellington; five daughters, Mrs. Harry Gibson, Mrs. Lucille Campbell and Mrs. Ruth Feakins all of Oberlin, Mrs. Floy Burke, Vermilion and Mrs. Grace Heidrich, Elyria; 32 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and a brother, Carl, Henrietta.
Friends will be received at the Cowling-Stang Funeral Home where funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev F. E. Eastman, Amherst will officiate. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery.
