ERVIN R. REIGHLEY
Ervin R. Reighley, 72, Vermilion Road, Amherst, native of Brownhelm Township and resident of the area all his life, died yesterday morning at Allen Memorial Hospital, Oberlin. He was ill several weeks.
Before retiring in 1960, Mr. Reighley was employed as a molder at Sterling Foundry, Wellington. Since that time he has been engaged in farming. His wife, Treva, died in 1945.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Paul (Jane) Sweda, North Ridgeville,Mrs. Charles (Lucia) Jenkins, Sandy Lake, Pa., Mrs. George (Sandra) Finch, Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Ervina Capacchione, Warminster, Pa.; two sons, Floyd Reighley, San Antonio, Texas, and Peter Avery, Wellington; 16 grandchildren; a brother, Hollis of Oberlin and three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Campbell, and Mrs. Virgie Gibson, both of Oberlin and Mrs. Ruth Feakins of South Amherst. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Cowling Funeral Home, Oberlin where the funeral will be conducted Thursday at 11 A.M. The Rev. Clifford Lawrence will officiate. Burial will be in East Pittsfield Cemetery.
