Funeral for the Rev. Woodrow Lamon, 69, of Birmingham was to be today at 2 p.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. W.L. Cole and the Rev. J.R. Aycock offciating.
Burial was to be in Roselawn Gardens of Memory.
Rev. Lamon died Sunday at Beverly East Nursing home in Birmingham. He was a retired United Methodist minister.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Lamon; two sons, Larry J. Lamon of Birmingham and Marion B. Lamon of Ashville; one daughter, Bettye C. Lamon of Birmingham; three sisters, Vera Plant, Christine Aycock and Grace Aldridge, all of Decatur; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be James Slaten, Don Aldridge, Raymond Hamilton, Keith Clark, R.B. Roberts and Herman Woodall.
