Sarah Christine 'Billie' Aycock

Funeral for Sarah Christine "Billie" Aycock, 89, of Decatur will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Wade Griffith, the Rev. Paul Plumb and the Rev. W. G. Henry officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Aycock died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at NHC Healthcare Center in Moulton. She was born Nov. 13, 1912, in Morgan County to John W. Lamon and Marian Braswell Lamon. She was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, J.R. Aycock of Hamilton; one daughter, Doris Pepper of Decatur; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bryon Pepper, Timothy Sokoll, Ricky Aycock, Russell Millwood, Anthony Aycock and Wilson Mitchell.
