William N. (sic) Fuller, 97, 630 Brenton Rd., formerly of 318 1/2 E. Burd St., died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the Chambersburg Hospital.

Mr. Fuller, who was a descendant of Samuel Fuller, eighth signer of the Mayflower Compact, was born Feb. 9, 1880, in Shippensburg, son of the late Flavius B. and Sara Mains Fuller. He was a member of the First Church of God, and was a retired employee of the Reading Railroad where he was employed for 30 years, and of the Beistle Company where he was employed for eight years.

Surviving are his widow, Sidney Fuller; a daughter, Mrs. Jay (Kathleen) Gury, Shippensburg; three sons; J.J. Fuller, Shippensburg, Herbert Fuller, Fort Loudon, and Mearns T. Fuller, Severn, Md.; a number of nieces and nephews, and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was the last of his immediate family.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the J. William Barbour Funeral Home, 142 E. King St., with the Rev. Forest Weist officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening.
