Born September 4, 1921 in Shippensburg, PA, he was the son of the late William Mearns Fuller and Sydney Hammond Fuller.
He was the husband of Ruth LaRue Keeney Fuller, who died in 2009. They were married for 56 years.
Mr. Fuller was a graduate of Shippensburg High School received his Bachelor's degree from Shippensburg College, and his Master's in Education from the University of Maryland. He served in the Army Air Corps in Europe during World War II and was discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He was formerly employed as a high school teacher in Southern High School, Baltimore.
Since retirement, Mr. Fuller and his wife traveled extensively in the continental U.S. and overseas. He and his family enjoyed vacations at Bethany Beach, DE.
Surviving are daughter Kim Brus and husband Henry of Millersville; son Mearns T. Fuller Jr. and wife Jennifer of Severna Park; grandchildren Christine and Thomas Brus, Karlie and Samuel Fuller, and Kaitlyn (Fuller) Hines and husband Kyle and their son William Mearns Hines, Mr. Fuller's great-grandson.
He was predeceased by siblings, Guy and Herbert Fuller, and Kathaline Gury.
The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro, on Monday, Jan. 16 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Rocky Hill Cemetery, 10825 Coppermine Road, Woodsboro. Rev. Matthew Beers, pastor of Grace Rocky Hill Lutheran Church, will officiate.
