Miss Elizabeth A. Hodge
Funeral services for Miss Elizabeth A. Hodge, 81, are to be conducted by Rev. Wendell Minnigh at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Osborne and Son funeral home. Interment will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery.
Miss Hodge, who resided at 82 south Mercer Street, died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1952.
She was a daughter of E.W. and Eliza Howell Hodge and was born May 28, 1868 in Greenville. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 45 years as a bookkepper for the Hodge Manufacuring Company.
Miss Hodge was a lifelong member of the First Methodist Church and was affiliated with the Woman's Society of Christian Service and the Susanna Wesley Bible Class of the church.
Survivors include three brothers, Thomas and Charles Hodge, Greenville, and Garfield Hodge, Grove City; one sister, Mrs. Mary Stough, Phoenix, Ariz., and several nieces and nephews.
The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
