C H King, 58, Merchant, Dies

Funeral services for Charles Herman King, 58, merchant, farmer and cattleman, who resided on Highway 8-East in the Macedonia community, will be conducted from the Macedonia Methodist Church at 3 pm, today with the Rev. W F Clark and the Rev. Ira Bright officiating.

Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery with Houston Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. King died at 9 am, Tuesday at the Houston Hospital of heart trouble.

He was born in Pontotoc County Oct. 8 1903, the son of Ike T King and Jurel Vandiver King.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Vannie Lee King of Houston; three daughters, Mrs. William Gambrell and Mrs. Athel Price, both of Houston, and Mrs. Mitchell Sisk of Shannon; five sons, Lewis King of West Point, and Joe, Jack, Billy and Gene King, all of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. T L Farr of Houston and Mrs. Ervin Franks of Moline, Ill.; two brothers, Turner King of Saltillo, Miss., and Russell King of Shannon, Miss. Twenty-one grandchildren also survive.
