Mrs. Katherine Sales passed away yesterday at the Deaconess hospital. She was born April 15, 1855 in Merlin, Canada to Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Smith. In 1878 she was united in marriage to Mr. Alfred Sales who preceded her in death in 1937.

Mrs. Sales came to Montana 62 years ago. She settled in Gallatin Gateway for eight years and then moved to a ranch southwest of Belgrade where she has resided over since.

Survivors include: sons and daughters, Enoch Sales, Manhattan; Mrs. (Hattie) Ed Cowan, Bozeman; Mrs. John Cook (Maggie), Bozeman; Oscar Sales, Bozeman; Mrs. Earl Robbins (Ida), Manhattan, and Charles Sales of Bozeman; one sister, Mary McGillery of Canada, several nieces and nephews, and 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be in Dokken Chapel at 3:30 Monday afternoon.
