Eli Sales, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Alf Sales passed away at noon Wednesday at the ranch home on West Gallatin following a short illness of appendicitis and peritonitis. He was to have entered the Johnstone hospital yesterday afternoon and C. H. Hecox had started to the ranch at noon to bring the sick man in by automobile. He died before Mr. Hecox reached the ranch. Deceased was 25 years of age and was born on West Gallatin. He is survived by his parents and five brothers and three sisters. He was a member of the local Odd Fellows lodge.
