Sara Lois Hime, 86 of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Our Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus. Sara was born on June 23, 1927 in Decatur County, the daughter of John William and Elizabeth Helen Norris. She was a 1945 graduate of Burney High School. On February 19, 1946, Sara married Paul E. Hime in Hartsville, IN and he preceded her in death on March 14, 2006.
Sara was a homemaker, but also served as a childcare provider. She was a member of the Burney United Methodist Church, the Candle Lighter's homemakers club and she also enjoyed sending cards and letters to people and babysitting.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 5PM – 8PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Sara's funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25 at 10AM also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Milford Cemetery.
