She was a poet and several of her poems were featured in the Jena Times.

JENA--Services for Lillie Doughty Arthur will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Kinner & Stevens with the Rev. S.B. Spinks officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Rhinehart.

Mrs. Arthur, 95, of Harrisonburg died at 12:10 p.m. Monday in Harrisonburg Nursing Home.

She was a former resident of Jena and was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sisters, Olivia Wilson and Ada Hanes, both of Jena.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be John Barrett, George Clancy III, James Clancy, Sam Baker, Richard Barrett and Tommy Wright.
