Dorothea Alice WISE was born March 31, 1921, in Luckey, Wood County, Ohio, the fourth of the 5 children of parents Frank N. WISE and Bessie EMMERICH WISE. She was always known as Dorothy to her family.

Dorothy married Don C. EVANS on May 8, 1943. They had three children, Garry Raymond, Ronald Norman, and Linda. Garry, born October 30 1942, died at the age of 15 months 27 days on February 25, 1944. Ronald was born July 2, 1944, and died November 17, 1998. Linda was born November 20, 1946, and died February 17, 2013. Her husband Donald died in 1981.

Dorothy worked as a waitress in Waterville during her younger years. After raising her family, she worked for the Shop of Siebert in Whitehouse and Waterville, a company that took new Cadillacs and Lincolns, and created ambulances and similar vehicles. Later on, she was the personal secretary to the Treasurer of Lucas County.

Some time after her husband Donald died, she married R. Jon FRAWLEY, and he died December 20, 1990.

Dorothy died on December 22, 1998. She was interred at the Wakeman Cemetery in Waterville, Ohio, near the rest of her family.
