Bertha B. Buell, 78, 606 W. Washington, died at 8:15 a.m. Monday at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital, having been ill the past few days.
Mrs. Buell was born April 20, 1900, in Decatur County, the daughter of James and Eliza Osting Clemons. She was a member of the Sandcreek Baptist Church and had made her residence on West Washington for over 24 years.
She was married to Otis Buell in Decatur County Sept. 4, 1921, and he survives, with four daughters: Mrs. Harold (Betty) Small, Mrs. Robert (Maxine) Brown and Mrs. Wayne (Martha) Davis, all of Greensburg, and Mrs. Joe (Sara) Layton, Indianapolis; three sons; James, Donald and Joe Buell, all of Greensburg; 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Mrs. Oliver (Mabel) Rohlfing, Mrs. Marjorie Clark and Mrs. Alma Kutchback, all of Greensburg.
The services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home with burial in the South Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today.
