Martha Davis, 86 of Greensburg, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Morning Breeze. Martha was born on September 17, 1931 in Decatur County, the daughter of Otis and Bertha (Clemons) Buell. She married Robert Wayne Davis on April 27, 1957 in Greensburg and he preceded her in death on July 8, 2004.
She worked as a bookkeeper in her family business Davis Bros Motors Inc. with her husband Wayne. She finished her work career with over 34 years as a baker for the Greensburg Community School Corp. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church.
Survivors include six children – Bill (Teresa) Davis of Palm Harbor, FL, Russ (Tracey) Davis of Greensburg, Ross (Susan) Davis of Greensburg, Janet Davis of Greensburg, Connie Froderman of Greensburg, and Kristi (Jeff ) Hall of Greensburg; two brothers – Donald Buell of Greensburg and Jim Buell of Whiteland; daughter-in-law Sue Davis of Muncie; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne, one son Mike Davis, three sisters Betty Small, Sarah Layton and Maxine Brown and one brother Joe Buell.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 4 pm - 7 pm at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 10 am on Friday, February 2, 2018 also the funeral home with Rev. Steve Wood officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
