Lloyd was born and raised in McAlester. He and Shirley Ellen Lawson were married for 50 years. He served in the United States Army during World War II and received his honorable discharge. He worked at the U.S. Naval Ammunition Depot and the L.E. Myers Highline Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising horses and spending time with his family. He passed away at his home in McAlester. Survivors include his children and spouses, Kathy Falkenstein, Mike and Rhonda Blevins, Ronnie and Debbie Lawson, Donna and R.B. Bryant, Brenda and Paul Gillispie, Rhonda and Greg Beshear and Greg and Leslie Blevins. Also, 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold (Bud) Blevins and wife, Clara (Dutch), and Raymond Blevins and wife, Maggie; one sister, Earlene Snow, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Blevins; parents, Frank and Grace Blevins; brother, Leo Blevins, and sister, Dorma Carrion. Pallbearers will be Benny Mauldin, Sonny Blevins, Kendall Steele, Nathan Steele, Randall Wilson and Donnie Lawson. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Glenn, Shannon Stacey, Jim Gibson, Justice Steven Taylor, Joe Carrion and Cody Mauldin. Family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brumley-Mills Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brumley-Mills Chapel in McAlester. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.
