She was the daughter of Frank and Grace (Johnson) Blevins. She grew up in the Blue Community. She married Joe Carrion Jr. on Nov. 2, 1962, in Fresno, Calif. She was a housewife and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church of McAlester. Survivors include her husband, Joe Carrion Jr., of the home; daughters, Maria Parham, of McAlester, Anna Carrion, of McAlester, and Candee Ryan and husband, Terry, of McAlester. Also, grandchildren, Joshua Parham, of Haywood, and Samuel Parham, Alicia Weeden, Christopher Carrion, and Garrett Carrion, all of McAlester; brothers, Lloyd Blevins and wife, Ellen, of McAlester, Harold Blevins and wife, Dutch, of McAlester, and Raymond Blevins and wife, Maggie, of Nowata. And, sister, Earline Snow, of McAlester, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Chris Carrion; parents, Frank and Grace Blevins; brother, Leo Blevins, and brother-in-law, Bill Snow. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 30, at Chaney's Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Jones officiating. Burial will be at Blue Cemetery in McAlester. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester.
