She was the daughter of George and Rose Matilda (Stammen) Buehler. On Apr 26, 1941, she married Clarence "Butch" Liette, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are four sons: Daniel (Veronica), Huber Heights, Tom (Deb Wagner), St. Henry, Richard (Dixie), Tipp City, and Kenneth (Deborah), Union City; three daughters: Patricia (Jerome) Clune, Maria Stein, Joyce (Matthew) Hart, Greenville, and June (Tom) Eisert, Lima; two sisters: Mary Thobe, Maria Stein, and Phyllis (Cyril) Evers, St. Henry; three sisters-in-law: Marcene Buehler, Ft. Recovery, Kate Dues, St. Henry, and Mary Liette, Burkettsville; and nineteen grandchildren and forty-nine great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a daughter-in-law, Dottie; three brothers: Clarence (Rose), Walter (Alvina) and Ed; three sisters: Evelyn (Ben) Bruening, Dorothy (Alvin) Raterman and Virginia (Bob) Stupp; six brothers-in-law: Werner Thobe, Edward Post, Bill (Ruth) Liette, Cy Dues, Hubert ‘Pete’ Liette and Norbert (Sally) Liette; and five sisters-in-law: Emerita (Andrew) Greer, Dorothy Schaefer, Loretta (Bob) Stammen, Rosa (Leon) Hein and Marge (Joe) Schmidt.

She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, its Ladies Sodality and its Prayer Chain.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry.
