Edward, 88, Ft. Recovery, died at Miami Valley Hospital.

He was the son of George and Rose (Stammen) Buehler. On Sep 1, 1951, he married Marcene Kahlig, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Dale, Ft. Recovery; a daughter, Karen (Bob) Schroer, Ft. Recovery; three sisters: Clarine Liette and Phyllis (Cyril) Evers, both St. Henry, and Mary Thobe, Maria Stein; two granddaughters: Angie Mulenkamp and Gina Spears; and five great-grandchildren: Drew, Cole, Keegan, Ian and Shawn.

Deceased are two brothers: Clarence (Rose) and Walter (Alvina); three sisters: Evelyn (Ben) Bruening, Dorothy (Alvin) Raterman and Virginia (Bob) Stupp; and two brothers-in-law, Clarence Liette and Werner Thobe.

He retired from Minster Machine, Minster, after 40 years and was also a farmer. During World War II he served in the US Army in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of the American Legion, Coldwater, the Knights of Columbus, St. Henry, and the St. Peter Catholic Church Holy Name Society and choir. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gardening and spending time with his family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter, with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating.
