Mary Edith Riney, 74, of Yale Place, Owensboro, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was a West Louisville a native, born to the late Guerdon & Mabel (Kelly) Riney and attended Blessed Mother Catholic Church. She is survived by two sons, Mark Roby of Owensboro, Bob Roby of Memphis, TN; three daughters, Mary Ann Blanford of Owensboro, Brenda Estes of Roswell, GA., and Janet Haas of Louisville; five brothers, F.G. Riney of West Louisville, Hugh Riney of Owenboro, Kelly Riney of Louisville, James Riney of Orlando, FL, and Don Riney of Amelia Island, FL; four sisters, Dorothy Getchell of Petaluma, CA, Mary Phoebe Elbehar of Owensboro, Maxine Cecil of West Louisville, and Beverly Cambron of Vero Beach, FL, and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with Fr. Freddie Byrd officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. with prayers at 7 p.m., and after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Blessed Mother Family Life Center.
