She was born to John and Lydia Margaret Lisonbee Holmes Sept. 3, 1920, at Jerome, Idaho.
She was the 11th of 13 children. She attended school in Wendell and Buhl.
She married James P. Lynch Aug. 28, 1943, in Elko, Nev. They lived in Buhl and Wendell. Her favorite occupation was being a mother and a silk finisher.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, serving in the Relief Society as a visiting teacher. A member of 33 years of the American Legion and Buhl Volunteer Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary and Elks Club.
Her greatest joy was being with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James P. Lynch of Wendell; son, James P. Lynch Jr. (Donna) of Buhl; two daughters, Judy (Gary) Olsen of Twin Falls and Vickie (Randy) Martin of Shelley, Idaho, a sister Ada Hammond of Seattle, Wash.; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.
The service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at the LDS Church in Wendell, Idaho. The viewing will be held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Demaray's Wendell Chapel and one hour prior to service at the church.
