Mr. Lonnie Bargeron Sr., of Route 5, Box 755, Wheeler Road, Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest Monday, April 9, 1973, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the Marks Baptist Church with the Revs. James Rich and Albert Stroup officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. He was a lifelong resident of Augusta, and a member of Marks Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rosa Lee Sellers Bargeron, Augusta; one son, Lonnie Bargeron, Jr., Augusta; two daughters, Mrs. James Adams, Clearwater, S.C., and Mrs. Nona Abbott, Greenville, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Zennie McGahee and Mrs. Florence Overton, Augusta, and Mrs. Eva Stubblefield, Boise City, Okla.; and one foster daughter, Mrs. Marvin Maddox, Pickens, S.C. Pallbearers will include Tom Camp, Charles Agerton, Guy Maddox, Mike Beagle, Bill Entrekin, and Paul Maness. Thomas L. King Funeral Home.
