George Frank Baylor, 72-year-old Swoope resident, died yesterday at the Stuart Circle Hospital in Richmond where he had been a patient six weeks.
Mr. Baylor was born near Swoope, son of the late George and Elizabeth Hoover Baylor. He was a member of the Hebron Church and had served as a deacon there since 1912.
Survivors are: his widow, Mrs. Mary Agnes Crawford Baylor, Swoope; six daughters, Mrs. W.F. Sanderson, Mrs. R.V. Selby, and Mrs. D.H. Harper, Richmond; Mrs. J.M. Ashby, Churchville; Mrs. R. E. Loraine and Mrs. W.T. Murphy, Miami, Fla.; three sons, George Frank Baylor Jr., Staunton and Robert Crawford Baylor, California, and John Daniel Baylor, Richmond and Swoope; and a brother, Hampton Gaines Baylor, Waynesboro. A sister, Mrs. John Pirkey, of Grottoes, preceded him in death in 1941.
Burial will be in the Hebron Cemetery.
