RAYVILLE (Special) - Funeral services for George W. Toney Sr., 74, who died Monday at the Richland Nursing Home in Delhi after a short illness, were today at the Bethel Baptist Church, North of Holly Ridge.

Burial was in the Bethel Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ida Mae Toney of Rayville; two daughters, Mrs. James N. Douglas of Monroe and Mrs. Carl E. Chellette of Shreveport; four sons, R. F. Toney and Leon Toney, both of Rayville, Ernest Toney and George Toney Jr., both of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Mattie May of Mendenhall, Miss.; two brothers, Joe Toney of Mendenhall, and Don Toney of Rayville; 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were W. A. Carpenter, Buford Fortenberry, Garland Nicholson, A. P. Futch and O. C. Allbritton.
