Mrs. Ruby Lee Shelton Collins, 82, died Tuesday, March 2, , 2010 at Universal Health Care in King. She was born January 8, 1928 in Stokes County to Reid and Pearlie Ashby Shelton. She attended Northview Primitive Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Collins in 1981; and one daughter, Judy Ann Hall. She is survived by six children, Doris Dalton of King, Mary Alice Young, Ruby C. Collins, Bobby Gene Collins and Marvin Collins, all of Walnut Cove, Donnie Lee Collins of Lawsonville; two sister, Lucille Anders of Walnut Cove and Louise Nunn of Pine Hall; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
