Herman Lee Hale, 68 of Pine Bluff, AR. died Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at
Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. He was born April 6, 1938 in West
Fork, Arkansas to the late Samuel Daniel and Esther Estella Burris Hale.
He served in the US Air Force and US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was
employed as a welder; and worked on Boxcars and Barges. He was preceded in death
by his parents and 2 brothers, Harry and Roy.
Survivors include a son, Douglas Allan Lee; daughter, Sandra Lee Hale; 2
brothers, Walter Hale of Topeka, KS, James Hale of West Fork; 2 sisters, Rosie Brown
of Riverside, CA, Bonnie Martin of West Fork and 2 grandchildren.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Beards Funeral Chapel and Crematory
of Fayetteville, AR.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Leslie Bailey, P.O.

Herman was a great mechanic serving in France with Company D, 97th Engineer Battalion (Construction) when I knew him. We had a lot of good times together and grew up in the real county in France at Vassincourt. Rest in peace, Herman.
