Born January 8, 1885 the daughter of the late Calvin and Martha Music Burke, she had been a resident of Van Lear for 38 years. She was a member of the West Van Lear Church of Christ. She was married December 24, 1903 to Green Conley who survives.Also surviving are six sons, Stewart, Guy and Scott all of Van Lear, Charles, Bearl and Henry all of Ashland;three daughters, Miss Sophia Conley, Mrs. Jack Stratton andMrs. Mary Jasper all of Van Lear. Other survivors include two brothers, Henry Burke, East Point,Everett Burke, Allen; two sisters, Mrs. Oma Greer, East Point,and Mrs. Sophia Fairchilds, city; four half-brothers,Howard Burke, Jeffersonville, Indiana, Arch Burke, Carrollton,KY., Green Burke, Ragland, W. Va., John Burke, city; two half-sisters, Miss Ruth Burke, West Van Lear, and Mrs. SarahWilliams, city.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the West VanLear Church of Christ with the Revs. Joseph Zavadsky andS. C. Honeycutt officiating.
Burial will be made in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van Learunder the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
