Wayne Bender, 41, Mt. Vernon, Indiana, formerly of New Paris RD, died Oct. 4, 1970 at Mt Vernon, Indiana.
He was born Aug. 27, 1929 In E. St. Clair Twp. the son of Harry and Cleo (Christman) Bender.
Surviving is his widow, the former Darlene Stucker and these children; Diana Joy, Susan Kaye, Sally Ann, and Wayne Jr., also these brothers and sisters: Orin of Burlington, Calif., Russell, married to the former Edith Madore of Bedford, Rena, wife of J. Owen Clark of New Paris RD, Mrs. Ann Stutzman, Brookhaven, Mrs. Sara Smith, Turtle Creek, Louise, wife of Jack Bernhardt of Johnstown, Pauline, wife of George Boyko, Salem Depot, New Hampshire, Vernon, married to the former Joanne Mowry of Pleasantville.
He was employed by the Gust Newburg Company of Chicago.
