Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sigel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home, Neoga, and one hour before services in the church. Burial: Neoga Memorial Cemetery, with military rites. Member: Neoga American Legion Post 279 and Neoga Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors: wife, Ruth; sons, Michael Deadmond and Mark Deadmond, both of Toledo; daughters, Sandra Miller, Shelbyville; Sharon Grant, Shumway; Karen Deadmond, Neoga; brothers, Larry Deadmond, Fort Collins, Colo.; Theodore Deadmond, Sullivan; sisters, Shirley McDevitt, Jeanette Sheffer and Sheryl Richey, all of Mattoon; Frances Clevenger, Toledo; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
