Jeanette Sheffer-Gullion, of Mattoon, Illinois formerly of Neoga, Illinois passed away at 1:39 P.M., Wednesday, April 15, 2015, in the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center of Coles County, Illinois.

Jeanette was born June 27, 1939, in Odin, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond F. and Mary Ann (Lukaseck) Deadmond, Sr. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Neoga, and a member of the Eagles Club of Mattoon, Illinois. Jeanette married Ronald W. Sheffer, July 20, 1977, in Charleston, IL and Ron passed away November 1, 1998. She later married Gerald Gullion, March 15, 2010, in St. Louis, MO and Gerald passed away July 10, 2010.

She was a housewife, a homemaker and she enjoyed her family and friends. Jeanette leaves one son, James David Myers of Mattoon, Il; two daughters, Julie Perry of Mattoon, IL and Jacqueline Statzer and husband Tom of Sherman, Il; two step-sons, Tim Sheffer of Florissant, MO and Michael Sheffer of St. Peters, MO; two step-daughters, Cathy Wardle and husband Steve of Florissant, MO and Theresa Lorenz and husband Andy of Winfield, MO; two brothers, Larry Deadmond and wife Nancy of Ft. Collins, CO and Theodore Deadmond and wife Mavis of Sullivan, IL; two sisters, Frances Clevenger of Oregon and Sheryl Richey of Mattoon, IL; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, two husband; two brothers, James and Raymond Deadmond, jr.; one sister, Shirley McDevitt and one great grandson, Gage Harley Myers.

Funeral services were held April 18, 2014, in the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, withe The Rev. Steve Massengill of Neoga, Officiating.
