Norma B. Clodfelter, 80, of West Salem, died at 6:25 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Mrs. Clodfelter was born February 9, 1930, in Edwards County, the daughter of C.W. and Gladys (Rosignol) Ahlfeld. She married Sidney E. Clodfelter on August 15, 1947, at Moravian Church in West Salem. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of Moravian Women and was active in "Journey Through Faith." She enjoyed her family and especially loved teaching the children's Sunday School class and even dressed as an clown to capture the kids' attention. She also loved camping.

Mrs. Clodfelter is survived by her two sons, Ivan (Kathleen) Clodfelter and Ernie (Crystal) Clodfelter; three daughters, Kathryn (Dennis) Thacker, Nancy Hutchings, and Carol (William) Van Matre; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Rusk and Evelyn (Larry) Tennyson; two brothers, Donald (Ermajean) Ahlfeld and Clyde (Jean Ann) Ahlfeld.

She was preceded in death by her parents, C.W. and Gladys Ahlfeld; husband, Sidney E. Clodfelter; brother, Ivan Ahlfeld; sister, Eloise Clodfelter; son-in-law, Jerry Hutchings; and great-granddaughter, Olivia Kathleen Clodfelter.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Hauser Room of Moravian Church in West Salem.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Sanctuary of the church.

Burial will be in Moravian Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home of West Salem is in charge of arrangements.
