Springfield - Mrs. Lila Barr Hallman, 75, widow of Harry Lee Hallman Sr., died Wednesday. Born in Orangeburg County, she was a daughter of the late Hartley C. and Irene Ash Barr. She was a active member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a member and past president of the Adult Sunday School Class. She was also a member and past chairman of the Cora Payne Circle of the Women's Missionary Union. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Myra Hutto of Springfield; three sons, Frank and Harry L. Hallman Jr. of Springfield and Horace Hallman of Barnwell; a brother, Carroll Barr of Springfield; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with burial in Springfield Cemetery. Folk Funeral Home of Williston is in charge. © The State, Columbia, SC, 10 Mar 1983
