Jack was born March 8, 1934, in Oakvale, W.Va. He moved to Texas from West Virginia in 1956. He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in accounting in 1960. He was an accountant and consultant to the medical profession until his death. He was an avid outdoorsman and lover of nature who loved hunting, fishing and working on his farm in Hamilton County. His Christian faith and church family were deeply important to him, and he loved country gospel music. Jack's warm nature and generous spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Nathan Edward Brown and Hilda Virginia Biggs; four brothers; one sister-in-law; one son; and one grandson.
Survivors: His wife of 55 years, Marie Spriggs Brown; daughter, Debra Ann Brown; son, Nathan Warren Brown and his wife, Denise; daughter, Cheryl Marie Hill and her husband, David; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; multiple nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
