Debra Ann Brown, 62, of Hurst, TX passed away peacefully on August 16, 2017.

Ann took joy in cooking, sewing, playing the piano, handbells, and singing in the choir at Church. She was employed as a full time wife and mother in her earlier years. She had a special place in her heart for her animals. Later on, she worked for the United States Postal Service. Then, became a registered nurse and was employed by Covenant Health System in Lubbock, TX. She received great joy from caring for patients. Ann had a generous spirit and boundless love for her family and friends.

Ann will be remembered as a beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by one son, Willliam Mark Shaw in 1977 and her father, Jack Walton Brown in 2010.

Surviving family members include Ann's mother, Marie Brown of North Richland Hills; son, Perry Shaw and wife Kandi of Crowell, TX; daughter, Jennifer Brownlee and husband Vance of Spearman, TX; brother, Nathan Warren Brown and wife Denise of Lenexa, KS; sister, Cheryl Hill of Dallas; father of their children, Mike Shaw of Crowell, TX; grandchildren, Liv Shaw, Flint, Ransom, and Reata Brownlee; great granddaughter, Claire Brownlee; nephews, Wyatt and Brady Hill; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
