Robert C. (Dink) Brown, 52, of Oakvale, died Sunday morning in a Princeton hospital following an apparent hospital.
He was the son of the late Nathan E. Brown of Oakvale and Hilda V. Brown that now resides in Burleson, Texas. He had been a resident of Oakvale all of his life. He was a farmer and optician having been the former owner and operator of Mercer Optical in Bluefield. He was a member of the Oakvale Methodist Church and the PTL Club.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Glenna Belcher Brown, three daughters, three sons, four brothers, Clarence Edward "Doots" Brown, Charles Evert Brown, Jackson Walton Brown, Nathan Lee Brown and seven grandchildren.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
