Ollie Wilson Taylor
Funeral for Ollie Wilson Taylor, 64, of Decatur 2, who died Wednesday at Parkway Medical Center, will be Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the New Friendship Baptist Church, the Rev. Ron Manley and the Rev. E. P. Berry officiating, with burial in the New Friendship Cemetery, Shelton Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Olivia Taylor, Decatur; two sons, Clyde Taylor and Steve Taylor, both of Somerville; five brothers, Emmett Taylor, Chattanooga, Tenn., Coleman Taylor, Decatur, Egbert Taylor and Holden Taylor, both of Somerville, and Elam Taylor, Falkville; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Crow, Somerville, and Mrs. Hattie Massey, Hartselle.
Pallbearers will be Paul Jack Speegle, Billy Joe Crow, James Dunaway, Shefton Taylor, Johnny Taylor, and Bobby Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Morrow, Ed Blankenship, Sherrill Tapscott, J. C. Davis, Leldon Brooks, Ray Champion, Charles Slaten, Jerry Knighten, and Paul Ellis Knighten.
Mr. Taylor was a retired employee of Goodyear Mills and attended the New Friendship Baptist Church.
The body will be at the church an hour before the funeral on Friday.
