Funeral for Talmadge Taylor, 75, Decatur 2, who died Thursday in a Hartselle hospital, was to be today at 2 p.m. at New Friendship Baptist Church, Revs. Ronald Manley, Charles Slaten, and Archie Nix officiating, with burial in adjoining cemetery. Peck Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Lorene Taylor, Decatur; a daughter, Mrs. Jim Garnett, Decatur; a son, John Davis Taylor, Decatur; a stepson, Jimmy Thompson, Decatur; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Massey and Mrs. Inez Crow, both of Somerville; six brothers, Emmett Taylor, Chattanooga, Elam Taylor, Falkville, Holdan Taylor, Edgebert Taylor, both of Somerville, Ollie Taylor, Coleman Taylor, both of Decatur.
Nephews were to be pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were to be deacons of the New Friendship Baptist Church.
