W. Lee Marchant, 76 of Cave Springs, passed away Monday, February 8, 2010 in his home. Lee was the youngest of eleven children born June 20, 1933 in Wild Cherry, Arkansas the son of Ezekiel and Lucy Rand Marchant. He owned and operated Cave Springs Motor Company since 1956, and was a Captain and served 29 years with the Cave Springs Fire Department, and he was a baptist. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Reable Haughn, Edna McCandliss, Ruby Foster and Imogene Wright, his brothers Heaber Marchant and Jesse Marchant.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Jolane Collier Marchant of the home, son Steve Marchant of Cave Springs and daughter Terry Meredith and husband Roger of Cave Springs; his brother Willard Marchant of Salem, OR; sisters Mildred Foster of Salem, AR; Elda Foster of Viola, AR; Juanita Robbins of Stover, MO; grandchildren Brandy Blackburn, Dusty Meredith, Amy Elam and Kris Marchant; great grandchildren Meredith, Collier & Collin Blackburn; Cadyn & Camryn Meredith and Jackson, Hannah & Jillian Elam; many nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Cave Springs with Pastor Pat Robinson and Travis Harbin officiating.
