E.E. or 'Zeke was born and raised in the Izard/Fulton County area. He was the son of Monroe Abraham & Matilda Peoria (Orie) Whitaker Marchant. He married Lucy L. Rand on 2/21/1909 at Calico Rock, AR. They lived the first 8 years of their marriage on the farm where Zeke was born and also where his father was born. Zeke & Lucy had 11 children and moved to the Cave Springs area in 1938. He was a member of the FBC in Cave Springs .
