J.H. Andress, 87, 300 South McGee, died at North Plains Hospital about 10 a.m. following illness.

The body was taken to Minton Mortuary, where services are pending.

He was rushed to the hospital by ambulance at 9:08 a.m. Sunday.

The body was taken to Minton Mortuary, where services are pending.

He was rushed to the hospital by ambulance at 9:08 a.m. Sunday.

A resident of the city since 1933, he was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the First Baptist Church, Texola, Tex.

He is survived by his widow Kitty, of the home; two sons, Joe and Barney, both of Borger; five daughters, Mrs. Gene Ledlie, Borger, and Mrs. Bill McCulley, Oklahoma City, Miss Jimmy Andress, Borger, Mrs. Paul Williams, Perryton, and Mrs. Scott Hatcher, Amarillo; two brothers, Clyde and Emmett, both of Munster, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. R.L. Yarbrough, Wichita Falls; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for J.H. Andress, 87, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. James Glenn of Richardson, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Joe Dee Ray, pastor of the First Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in the Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

A resident of the city since 1933, Mr. Andress died Monday at North Plains Hospital.

He is survived by his widow, two sons, five daughters, two brothers, one sister, 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be R.E. Haynes, Gobel Anthony, Guy Crawford, C.J. Jackson, T.P. Higgins and Dr. M.M. Stevens.
