Funeral services for Isaac Donzel Hornbeck, 83, of Lima, Jackson County, who died Saturday at the Lewis Wetzel Nursing Home in New Martinsville, were scheduled to be held at 2 p.m. today at the Kimes Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marvin Eaton officiating. Burial was to be in the Pleasant Home Cemetery near Belleville.
He was born Feb. 20, 1888, in Jackson County, son of the late Jacob and Mary Powers Hornbeck. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Lima, and was a retired farmer.
He is survived by three sons, Kenneth of New Martinsville, Calvin of Waterloo, Ind., and Francis of La.; one daughter, Mrs. Kempsie Shepherd of Lima; one step-daughter, Mrs. Alba Troiano of Pamona Park, Fla.; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren;two brothers, Lewis of Parkersburg and Emmett of Bellaire, O., two sisters, Mrs. Martha Horner of Parkersburg and Mrs. Leota Nutter of Macksburg.
