Ruth, the daughter of Fred W. Stork, Sr. and Elsie Meyer Stork, was born in Saginaw, Michigan. Ruth, known as "Peg", was one of five children. Peg grew up in Saginaw and graduated from Arthur Hill High School. Peg married Frederick Stingel in 1936 in a lovely garden wedding at her parents home in Saginaw. Peg and Frederick, known as Fritz, had a daughter and a son. Fritz worked for the Stork Engineering Company throughout his career and Peg was a devoted wife and Mother. After Fritz retired, Fritz and Peg moved to Florida.
